Debbie was spot on with her assessment of how many pups were in there, that they looked older than the dates I had mated her with a stud (thanks to a careless brother who very kindly dogsat but accidentally got her knocked up while I was on holiday!) AND was really helpful when they arrived 10 days earlier than I was expecting and was in a complete flap not fully prepared having allowdd my brother to gaslight me that 'it wasn't possible', always listen to your gut! She video called me and gave some really good advice, recognising instantly that 1 of the pups had a birth defect of intestines outside of body and wouldn't make it. Again, sadly this time, she was right. I'm grateful she told me honestly and empathetically, the vet confirmed it and the beautiful little bubba did not have to suffer not being able to eat, getting a painful infection and having a horrible death. Her knowledge is really good and she was also really kind wanting to make sure the pups and I were okay, very grateful for all your help Debbie, thank you so, so much! Xxx
